I have only ever played once, at the annual West Australian Newspapers Association golf day, and with my only half decent flukey shot of the day i scored the longest most accurate shot, and won myself a golf club. How about that.

Any one got any need for a loft wedge ?

I was pretty good in my youth.....played Carramar last week (first time out in 12 months) shot 51 on front nine, 39 on the back.

Took a little while to get into the groove again. It's all about the social aspect though. Couple of cans of Beam n Cola make the outing fun

That spun me the fk out, the only place it's acceptable to be drinking beam & coke at 9am on a Sunday. We finished our round at 10.. and there were ppl already at the bar.

Now thats a sport!

Greg you must have to much money

Playing for big bucks sucks the fun out of it. Make it a carton each or somethin.

If anyones keen what about a P-Diddy Ambrose golf day? Each group of either2 or 4 players is their own team. Everyone in the team hits off. You pick the best shot out of your team then everyone plays from that spot...and so on until you finish the hole.

Ambrose is good day out cause even crew that aren't that good will usually pull off a spectaculary shot during the day.

any preferences of courses???

Burswood get shitty if you rip up the runway too much. Whaleback isnt too bad. I usually play down the rd at Hillview. Pretty easy going for beginners/amatures

Yep I'm up for a flog (golf backwards did you notice??) any course.

Yep if your still learning steer clear of Burswood, lots of water. I hear Whaleback is in good nick, haven't played Hillview but I'd venture out that way for a game.
