I was watching the fireworks in bicton on Monday night when I saw four cops in uniform pile into two identical stock silver Betty WRX's.

Just have a wander through the carpark underneath the old Myers Megamart in Northbridge to see the variety of unmarked available

There's a police station near where I live, between 2 and 4 stock G3 WRX hatches always there.

Pretty certain the speeds for those zones need to be displayed on both the left hand side and right hand side of the road facing the traffic entering the zone

If it is just one sign then it is a suggested speed

Two signs make it a legal speed limit that must be maintained and followed

I thought both sides meant the speed zone is changing at that point. One side is just showing you the speed (no change you're already in that speed zone).

A yellow background sign is normally a recommended or suggested speed limit.
You will see a number of these on curved roads, especially in the hills.

A white background is the absolute limit, these are the signs that you see 99% of the time.

I've never heard of one sign vs two signs, last time I spoke to a traffic enforcement officer they told me that a single sign is all that is required to enforce a limit in an area.

One white background speed sign is current limit. Two is change of limit . Someone living in Mundaring contested their fine in court due to there only being one current speed and one change of speed sign. They won and everyone fined by the camera on that day had the fines reversed .

Was on the news or today tonight the other week. At the end of the day just do what the limit is where it is posted . Gives us a better standing than being all labeled as hoons . Cut loose at the drags, track days , testing days ,mini gymkhanas. The more we all go the more people will organize.

These days you speed and you will be walking everywhere just not worth it try arguing a speed sign with a copper . You will lose.

Yep good advice amtrapid it's just not worth anymore I'm in my mid 40's now and when I got busted for speeding in my youthI usually just got a good old don't do it again or pull your head in speech now it's a large pineapple straight away. Reason I don't ride high powered motorbikes anymore since the rear facing cameras just don't stand a chance.
