I am from Perth and looking to by a car from Victoria that doesn't come with reg or a RWC.

Has anyone done this before? Is the process easy, difficult, etc?

You will have to get it over the pits here in Perth once you get it here, so if it has plenty of canary catching yellow sticker mods on it, you will have to get all that sorted to get it rego'd.
Other than that, its pretty much just shipping costs to get it here.

I think you have 3 months to rego it here in Perth, but it may be different as the car will be unregistered.
Also, you may need a transfer permit from the state you're buying it from.

No, but you can't drive it until you take it over the pits here.
Even to pick it up to/from the transport mob you will need a temporary movement permit. They are good for up to 48 hours and are about $24 from memory.
