Its a Daytona coupe - hand made car - only 5 of them built (i think) and its based on the daytona body from the 60-70s and has the Gen3 V8 tractor motor in it.. but goes like stink. Built by the guys that build formula fords so same space frame sort of construction - hence not too strong but very light. I competed at Mt Buller this year and watched one in action - it beat Jim Richards on one pass from memory - so there plenty quick enough.

Correct , it's not a pretty sight and the cops do have a copy of the incar which will eventually get leaked by some stooge in evidence section. It proves he was still trying to get it back under control till the end and never gave up.

Watching the in car footage from the stage before was absolutely jaw dropping.

Cheers
Ken

And the balck box would be the GPS monitor that was installed for Targa West to see what speeds were taking place in various cars

Original daytona coupes were built by the SHELBY motor company in 1964 and 65, so its actually a replica FORD, mat was on the money, but yes, it did have a worked LS1

Have you ever seen the Senna (and several other) crash? Brock is no different! People like watching bad news stories.
