heya guys i just bought a radar detector
it is a bel vector 990 international.
i was just wondering if any1 has one and could tell me if they are any good??

Err, you didnt do your research before you bought it?

FYI, this radar detector is illegal in this country, and police can actually detect it whenever you switch it on. Dont be surprised if you find a cop car following you when you use it next!

Multanova cameras also have a function to stop the use of illegal detectors...it'll take a photo of you regardless if your speeding or not because it detects the use of a Bel 990, and you'll receive a summons in the mail.

Interesting... ill make sure i get Dan to do my research if I ever upgrade mine !

be interested to see how the cops would react... cant be that many ppl running around with them in their cars..

I have a Stralth Ninja G3 Radar detector and I have been through multiple Booze buses and cops havent done jack about it. Have had cops drive behind me, infront of me and next to me and They have seen it and said nothing. They are Still LEGAL in WA Only. Radar Jammers and Laser Jammers are illegal Aus wide.
