Thats coz the Govt are dickheads and gave no warning. If the system
knew about it earlier (like in the east) then patch would have already
been out and outlook would have known about the daylight savings
before you put the meetings in. Now it will have trouble with meetings
put in before the patch was applied.

A known issue and another example of how the govt are irresponsible
pricks and don't think things through. Rant over...

If your running xp your fine, just set internet time, there is a windows xp patch available for the time change.

Outlook gets its time from the machine, if you are running exchange then win2k3 server needs a patch also.

Try running netware on database servers in retail, we have 400+ servers to patch this weekend. Admins are busy busy busy

the best way to fix this, until appropriate patches are out. Is use a time server reading out fake GMT time after the switch

It's not as if we are the first State in the entire world to trial daylight savings - it's been around for ages - people around the entire world have been coping with these issues for years and years - how hard can it be?

Yes... And your milk will go off earlier coz the cows don't know
what time to get milked.

Open each individual entry, if they are recurring, click the recurring button and save. they get the right time again (if dst patch is applied)

When the Sydney olympics got a special DST they had 6 months notice and still had problems.

Wait till Monday, it is gonna be a nightmare.

We have patched all 60 of our servers. We are not patching the Sun boxes, we are throwing them in the bin at christmas so they can have the wrong time.

You have to love apple's "patch": Change timezone to Japan. Patch complete.
