Hi my Drivers License expired on Dec 12 and I can't find the 'paperwork' to renew it. I don't want to drive without it as my insurance becomes void if I'm in an accident, not to mention risking the increased police RBT's and license checks over xmas.

Any ideas?

go into the licencing centre and renew your licence. Your allowed 1 months grace with car and drivers licence

I actually think you have 3 months as I let mine lapse by 10 weeks and then read the paperwork and all was good...

I was talking about when the cops pull you over and you have an expired licence, you have one months grace before you are charged.

as everyone has stated all you need to do is just go to one of licensing centres and renew it. you dont need any paperwork, just your ID.

A while ago I was charged with driving without a license, because it lapsed on a weekend, and I was going to go in on the Monday and pay it.

Knowing my luck though, the police pull me over on the Sunday, charge me and wouldn't let me drive home!

Whats the deal with that? This was about 18months ago, have the rules changed since then or have I been jewed?
