You would do well by going with Linfox, they can enclose the vehicle and insure it while it's being on & off loaded and while being held prior to collection in the yard in Perth.

Its better to have insurance and not need it than not have insurance and need it.

My mate got his Toyota Supra transported over here 3 months ago,
Transport, no Insurance = $1100 Transport, with Insurance = $1350 Would vary car to car, and time of the year too, also the company you go with, but yeah, thats what he paid. |

I brought my car over from QLD a 4 months ago via TNT transport, these guys know what they are doing, cost me $1164 with insurance. They picked it up from the guys door in Noosa, transported down to Brisbane. The train from QLD to Melbourne isn't enclosed, but from Melbourne to Perth, fully enclosed. Gives you that piece of mind.
I also took out an insurance cover note at the time of purchase just to be sure. Got my car in 2 weeks, they washed and vacuumed it at the depot just before pick up, couldn't be more happier with the service. TNT also transports for Subaru Australia. Hope it helps. |

TNT! I've had two cars sent from Melbourne, around $950, insured and enclosed.
One was a forester, which is too tall for the train, so it works out alot cheaper than the railroad (sad really, why do we have it?) Cheers, Nik |
