End of the day it all comes down to attitude unfortunately.

You can have all the experience in the world.... attend more MC events than JC.... and still be a dickhead on the road.

more speed cameras on the way.....
Hmm... More speed camera's. They will go a long way to catch
things like:
1. Speeding.
2. Err... thats it.

They will not get:
1. Unlicensed driver
2. Drunk driver.
3. Fail to indicate.
4. bald tyres, broken tail lights etc...
5. Everything else in the book...

Specifically concentrating on speeding and ignoring other risk factors
by getting more speed cameras is a great way the govt is looking
after the community and road users in general. <Sarcasm mode>

Here is an interesting read anyway...

".. big increase in the number of speed and red light cameras is needed to avoid a repeat of last year's horror road toll in WA, says Road Safety Council chairman Grant Dorrington."

Wtf do red light cameras have to do with the road toll?

They cut the road toll. Trust him. He is the "chairman".
By careful placement they stop white wagon drivers crashing
into trees just before new-years. This is done through the clever
usage of mirrors, smoke and red-lights. ...oh and speed cameras
will be used in 2007 to cut the drink driving related death toll.

heheeh reminds me of a story my dad told me - he had a clubsport up his date in a 50 zone, and my dad would never speed anywhere, but this guy was being super impatient -

upon leaving the suburb there is a large two lane round about and my dad in his evo 9 just floored it to turn right and looked into the rear view mirror to see the clubbing spinning out
