I've got a Pioneer head unit with the Pionner iPod box that plugs into the CD changer jack on the back of the deck - awesome sound quality, can control the iPod through the head unit, charges etc... Ipod is hidden away from prying eyes.
Wouldn't even think about an FM transmitter if you're interested in sound quality, they are shit IMO. |

The FM transmitter will only be as good as listening to a normal radio station at best.
In other words crap... |

Best bet is to pickup a deck that has a USB port on the front. Then you have the option of using just a memory stick with mp3's or using an mp3 player. Another option is the FM transmitters, they have pretty average at best sound quality but. You can pick one of these up from Jcar in northbridge for around $50
