I'd go the Autronic, have yet to hear *anything* about the LinkG3, i only know of 2 cars with them installed and neither of them is very hardcore.

reflexwrx, go read the mechanical forum, there is plenty of info about All Star there

Yes Matt I'm leaning that way too, the current link is fine as it's not used as a road car, it's one of the first LINK's and according to Sean the resolution is S--T, it may be more economical to buy plug n play and take the hit on resale rather than paying $800 + every time it needs wiring in.

Very good results have come from the new Vipec Plug in ECU from over east.
A few cars on Rexnet have them fitted.

Apparently a piece of piss to fit and tune. Sean from ASG or Leigh from RMS would not have a problem and get good results from it. If they can tune a Link G3 then this is even easier. Particularily if you get the optional closed loop wideband control for quick tuning.

Has a lot of Motec M800 features at a very competative price.

One very important consideration is local and active support via forums / firmware updates from Ray Hall on the Vipec website.
This would be what would sway my decision. Local Support.

They should be $1600ish + tuning

2nd hand Power FC if your on a budget.

Yep the Vipec is the new up and coming ecu option. I know a fellow who has one in his Mitsu RVR, and thus far has been trouble free motoring.

Buy my smc and wire it in. Best value for a GC8 unless you have AVCS then SM4.
