Allstar Garage can source and install one for you. Having spoken to Sean about them previously they are quite good at what they do and have a few useful features. In their price range direct competitors are (in order of cost) ViPEC, Link G4 and Autronic. All very capable for a hot street car/weekend racer.

Power FC with hand controller still represents great bang for buck but on top of the price you'll need a Z32 air flow meter and around $600 for a tune so you'd be looking at $2000 to $2200 installed and tuned.

ViPEC does away with the AFM altogether as does the Link and Autronic but with these you'd be looking at closer to $3500 to $4500 installed and tuned.

Vipec is a link with a couple of extra features. Both are decent, good resolution easy to tune etc

Vipec should be a little cheaper than that given they make a plug in board for most WRX's. Should be a matter of supply, put board in and tune

Remember ECU's don't make power, a good tune(r) does....

Pick a tuner and go with his recommendations.

Link and Autronic are also plug n play.

$3500-4500 to supply install and tune a Autronic Mine cost
me $2200 supplied, fitted and tuned (ECU was $1600 2nd hand).

New ones are appx $2300 if I recall correctly so with a tune you'd
be well under $3500.

From a few installs I've seen, most seem to report that they are on par with Autronic (vipec is developed by Ray Hall aka Autronic fame).

Keen to see what the results are Gav.
