I dont have any interest in photography outside of cars so never pursued it.

Doesn't make me a living but a nice supplement income via magazines (PSC, althought stopped that now), photoshoots via my website, few photos used books, prints, calendars etc.

how did you go about it in the first place? did you ring few magazines and asked if they'd be interested in seeing some of work? or via a contact?

not sure how to get the ball rolling that's all

Cant speak for Jan, but PSC contacted me originally.

Nope - was standing at work one day, phone rang, and it was Trevor asking if id be interested in doing some work for them.

4 years later I still am

I know atm he has expanded his contributors so not sure what that would mean in terms of being able to approach him.

Also, if you think you can even go close to "making money" from it dont bother

I do it because I love cars and its a bit of fun for me. But I could make more stocking shelves for a few hours a week.

PSC was after I did a photoshoot for someone who then asked if the pics could be used in a feature of his car in the magazine. Through that I got to know Trevor and did more work for him from time to time.

Most of the other stuff (Lambo book, club magazines, exotic 'shoots) was through people seeing my website.

Havent really pushed my work on anyone yet and take it as it comes, dont really have the time to get too into it anyway.
