bugger, guess Ill just have to grab one from honkers or the US. Only an extra 100 bucks over what the local cost was.
Wonder if Nikon have much stock? Might be a good time to get a d700 if Im going to be able to sell all my canon gear at a good price after the price hikes come in.

Update: got a 24-70L from bhphotovideo in the US for only a 130 bucks more than they were selling for locally before they ran out. Now I just have to see how much they go up by to see if it was worth it haha. Doesnt really matter as I will be using it for paid gigs in the next 3 weeks anyhow.

yeah I think thats the reason why Canon is raising there prices soon! I dont think it would make too much difference where you bought from at the moment.
