What are you guys doing at Area C? I used to go out there every friday from Newman for site visits.

These aren't the best photos but here are some of when I was there.

This is how the cowboy electricians connected the fibre link from Area C to Newman.

almost looks like you've got a ciggie in your mouth there pete :P

dan / huy: up for a weeks work in the pilbarra popping in to some of our companies 50 odd sites

ps dan, camps about twice that now!

heres one more i took today out of newman, single ghost gum standing buy itself... not sure if im happy with the shot yet but eh

heeh thats a cool shot mat, tree stands out heaps agaisnt the dusty red. ur polariser makes the sky looks really vivid... (using one yerh?)

350D with stocko 18-55 and Hoya UV filter. I was using AV mode on F3.5, rest of the details i forget. Then in ps i think i did: auto contrast, bumped the red a bees dick, resized from 38xx to 900, sharpen, saved as jpeg at 80%.

I think its a little dark still, but sort of hard to get a good idea of light on this laptop monitor.
