cheers for the feedback guys.

I was playing around alot with different ISO, as you said to reduce noise etc those were the best i got.

I was a bit lucky with the clouds, very cloudy day, and they were very dark clouds, easier to capture their detail.

Ive taken all my images as RAW +L. ive cleaned up the L Jpegs with photoshop, but i cant seem to open up the RAW files in CS2.

Ive downloaded Camera RAW 4.4.1 for CS2 which apparently is required for the 450D, but still no success, i get incompatible file error messages.

Yeah, that happens.

Best solution i found was to download Adobe Lightroom 2.0. Brilliant program for RAW editing. Can adjust pretty much anything with it.

Still may need to download some RAW codecs as well, cant remember.

Nice photos mate, Make sure you have lowest iso possible with the aperture you are using to get the right exposure, get Photoshop cs3 or Lightroom to edit your photos both are great.

Tonight's lightning. Clouds were being a pain in the ass covering up half of the bolts:

Pic I took of my car with our new Canon EOS 450D and 17-85mm.

Has been tweaked slightly with Adobe Lightroom 2....the black edges are from the "lens compensation", which I thought looked cool Has bulk TJ angle also.
