use a wider aperture, looking at the exif those shots were taken at 5.6? shoot at f/8 or above.

nah just get an even smaller car so it fits in the small 'in focus' range

Now these two images are just to give an idea of the rig we have.
It was our very first attempt at it. so over the next week we are going to try again and do some out side shots this time.

It was a lot harder than i originally thought it would be. But once we get the hang of it, they should look good. Trying next time to really get the car sharp.

here is couple examples. mine was shot with my 5d and alex was shot with his D200.

Yeah it was very trial and error. we will try again this week but out doors and few different settings. was very hard the first time not really knowing what we were doing.
but the general idea is there lol.

I really want it to be crisp and sharp as, so will try again and see what happens.

Ill take my batt pack off too next time make the camera lighter.

I've herd the best way to capture sharp images is to push the car, with a really long shutter speed. Much less vibration if the motor isn't running.

yeah we did that at first . worked well as well.. hopefully next shoot will be better
all about practice

most the time was taken by working out the mounting of the rig and setting camera
