Just picked up a Canon 400D(thanx Daz) and went out to have a crack at getting some decent shots of my bro's car at a fairly well used location!

Not really happy with them altogether, I really need to get a tripod so I can use a longer exposure with the low and uneven light.

Hopefully there is some potential anyway!

A sample:

Jimmy - straight into it eh? No mucking about!

If you're chasing a very budget tripod, drop into National Geographic they have one for about $40 (or used to) Its a good start, albeit a little weak, but get what you pay for...

If you're willing to spend a bit more go for a SLIK Pro 5000 (legs) with a SLIK Ball Head - should be able to pick it up local for under $300

I bought a Manfrotto Legs with a pan/tilt head, and its sometimes a lil bit annoying to use - three different arms are a pain to set. Gunna get myself a Ball head next - either a SLIK or a Manfrotto.
