Cool, I just bought a 10-22mm for my Canon 400D and I think it's going to be wiiiide like that too. Is this shot right down at 12mm?

Yep, 12mm, 1/2000sec f/4.5
f/4.5 because that's as open as she goes. The nikkor version is f/2.8... but it's also $2500

Found an Osprey chillin out while looking for a sunset location - luckily I also packed a long lens otherwise would been annoyed at missing out on these shots!






Still not gotten a great "Bird In Flight" shot yet....but working on it!

People with Nikon SLR - Im in need of a speed light which ones do you guys recommend?

Was thinking of getting either the SB-600 or SB-700?

What do you need it to do?
Point it at the roof and snap away looking like a boss? Or?...
Read the features of all of them, and decide what you one you need.
Personally, I've got the SB900 and an aftermarket cheapy (which is still TTL) that I use off camera.
