8.5 +43 is pretty flush on a GD. Just right really without needing much guard work. If low on coilovers rear guards will definitely need to be rolled.

I guess 8's +43 will be easier again by a little bit.

Roll the guards to the max. -1.5 to -2 up front and -1.5 rear... should easily clear 235/35R18s

yeah, thats the thing.. if i get rims i need tyres & coilies cos it would look shite on standard suspension.. then i'd need to sort the bodywork. All coupled with trying to sell/buy a house means i probably will get shot if i spend money on the car right now.
