Hi all,

Bought myself a Traxxas slash 4x4 about 2 months ago now and have dont a few mods to it since then including center diff and 3s Lipo and have already done through a motor so onto the second haha

Also gone through a set of tyres since the purchase.

Having a lot of fun with it and it absolutely flies but was wondering if anyone on here knows of a good spot to practice driving it, have just been going to the local park but would like somewhere a bit more challenging and fun for it?

Have seen that Whiteman park has a track there but not really interested in paying every time I take it for a drive.

Use the bmx tracks in either Carine or woodvale if NOR.

You can use whiteman for free if there's no racing on...... Just dont go every weekend.
There's also a track in bays water - use google earth to find it.

hey bud,

nice! i've got the slash 4x4 as well with the 3s lipo and mamba motor. it flies!!
i normally go to a bmx track in wilson (off kent street). there's also a converted lawn bowls park off oorong rd in carlisle that some offroad RC guys race at on some nights. you can go in race on your own when they dont have their races on, or pay a few bucks and race with those guys.

Hey mate... I seem to find what I need at RCmart. RC Cars | RC Hobby Shop | Radio Controlled Cars | RCMart.com- Just got a nice BMW M3 Shell that looks mint, although be prepared to spend some time putting it together!! Ross works for Hobbyking so I'm sure he can hook you up with the right product/advise. P.S I'm also looking for a charger.

I might go with a shell that's all ready painted to start with as I won't have the patience to paint it...

Shipping is pretty good... just pay for the express service hahaha. I've had no issues, but I get it sent to my work :-).

I'll get my mate to point me in the right direction as which charger and shell's would be suitable and go from there I guess.
