PRICE - looking for $12000ono

2003 Subaru wrx STI

stock standard motor, with 159,000 km's on the clock, always serviced every 5000km and run on 98ron
18" work emotion CR kai's
turbo back 3" exhaust system

Basically car has roof damage, from a shed support beam falling ontop. Have been quoted by a few different panel beaters all quoting roughly $7500-$8500 for a complete repair, with new roof skin, lining, seals, etc, plus paint. Just haven't been bothered to fix it due to owning another car, and other commitments.

So for almost under $22000 you can have a complete working STI. Engine is mechanically perfect, interior is mint and all other areas of the body/shell is perfect (besides the roof etc which will be fixed).

If car doesn't sell as complete, I will proceed to strip it for parts. So anyone who's interested in 03 STI parts, PM me.

Maybe drop the price to sub $10k and you might have some luck.

No one is gonna buy a $14k sti to spend $9000 getting it fixed up, when they could buy an 03 sti without roof damage for $21k all up.

Thanks for your input, but funny enough there has been alot of interest shown already. So I will see how that goes.

I did state $14kono, which is negotiable as we all know forum's love to haggle. I got quoted $7.5k from a very reputable workshop so thats less than what your stating.

If you ain't interested, you ain't interested. Pretty simple. If you can buy a 03 sti for $21k then by all means buy it. From what I see on carsales the 03 sti's still range from $25k-27k. It's also a late 03 model with the peanut eye, not the bug eye.
