Default MY98 WRX engine

-My old engine is taking up room at my mums house so it needs to go, swapped it for a engine that has lower km's on it.

This one currently has 200,000 km on the clock, changed because needed lower km's and there was a engine cut while driving when the rpm went above 3500.

Unsure of actual problem so let's just assume its good for rebuild?

selling for $400 ono

all offer's will be considered so don't be affraid to throw a price my way.

-Stock flywheel with water marks as my mum left it in the weather for couple hours. can arrange to get it skimmed and made to look like new again, but it would be cheaper and easier if you bought and did it yourself. $50 as is $150 skimmed ono.

-4x 15" rims with average tyres, (4 stud) 3 rims match 1 doesnt, good for any small car that just needs a cheap fix for tyres and rims that are road leagal. $200 ono.

contact me on 0411 362 949
or PM me on this account.

Pics added later on tonight of the engine. please request for any additional photo's once these photo's have been posted up.

Didnt the engine have a burnt valve. Thats why it was running like shit. Again wouldn't be worth 400, it will cost double that to fix it.

Here's what happened to it:

And also, just adjusted my boost controller, then went for a drive, drove like a dream but revs still dropped down to 200 which is boost/vacuum leak which i can find later, even though i adjusted my boost controller the wrong way and i hit 20 psi by accident (don't worry no damage done) it red lined like a dream and it didnt shutter at all, so i might just be in the market for a new boost controller.

And now a question, why do boost controller's have a ball bearing in them?

Why is it that my boost controller opens up on boost when i tighten the boost adjuster nut all the way down? does this mean its kind of like a gas bottle fitting?

Get yourself a Greddy Profec B (www.visionr.com.au) or any other electronic boost controller & you won't keep having these issues.

P.s no need to red line it, it will be quicker if you shift just above 6000 rpm..
Remember who has helped you in the past.......

Now I'm sure you'll be inundated with offers to buy it....Have a Nice day retard
