I think I've asked this question before indirectly how high does it sit compared to the stock knob?
also does it get hot in summer?

By the time its wound on to the shifter it sits pretty much at the same height.
No hotter than your steering wheel, that is unless you have one of those big wooly sheep skin covers.

Ive got the same in a different material and it feels nice and solid in the hand. Dont be put off by the pics though, the knob is not as large as it looks.
