Cheap IHI VF37 twinscroll turbo (seal leak)
I got a IHI VF37 twinscroll turbo off a JDM sti for sale.
Has two issues;
1. Leaking seal on the cold side. Requires a rebuild, kit costs $50
2. One of the downpipe studs needs removing and replacing as it has been cut due to a ceased nut. There is enough thread for a thread extractor but not enough to double nut and back off.
Hook up a kinugawa TS header and its a cheap entry in to twinscroll for someone willing to put in a bit of time. Or for some who is chasing a P25 housing for a hybrid setup.
