Thanks for replying, I replaced the passenger side switch so it sounds like I need to replace the main switch on the drivers side.

My MY99 GC8 has 235,000 so 65,000 to 300,000 but it still feels good as new, the motor may have been rebuilt in the past though.

The door trims on my car are more of a suede material than what that car has but same colour, the carpet and shift pattern badge on the centre console are the same as my car though.

Interesting, there are no stickers or badges to say that it is something special unless they have been removed, it has gold wheels as well but I don't think they are the original wheels.
