Buy from https://www.tactrix.com/

obviously it plugs in the odb2 port under your dash and connects to your laptop via usb to log with the romraider program. There is plenty of info around of how to use etc.

What do you want too do? If you want to tune then you will need a tactrix. If all you want to do is log and check how healthy the car is you can get away eith using a VAGCOM cable. The vag cable is only 20buks as apposed to the tactrix which is 200buks(dont quote me cant really remember). Also if you work out how to use that romraider software help a brother out.

Lol can I suggest not fucking it to hard and if you do have a original base map/tune/program, so that in the possibility you hard fuck the tune/ratios you can reflash it back to stock :-)

I am nowhere near being a pro on this but I have the cable and have been on the same journey quite recently, including learning how to data log a wideband gauge that outputs a 5v analog signal.

Happy to try and help
