Give a DNS changer like UnblockUS or Getflix a trial. I think you'll find it faster and cheaper.
Thanks, I'll give them a go. I'm only on a free trial at the moment anyway so I can jump around until I find something that works best.

I use Unblock-us with my WDTV box to get Netflix. Netflix gets good use in the house and for less then $15 a month (for both unblock-us and Netflix) it's a good deal.

I do use Foxtel Play on my Samsung TV (via the in-built app) so I can watch SPEED in decent quality, but at $50 a month (no contract) it's still too much as we don't watch much else in that channel package. If I could just pay for the SPEED channel or get a decent quality feed I would be happy

I personally don't like streaming, I stream certain things like anime etc because there is no good seeds around anywhere, but for movies and TV shows I just torrent them, EZTV or piratebay is the way to go, combine that with a program like Vuze or Utorrent and you have everything you need to keep you happy and entertained. On ADSL2+ I get DL speeds or around 1-2MB/s whilst torrenting (all depends on seeds ofc)

You can also set up subscriptions, so vuze or utorrent will automatically download the newest episode of the TV series you are currently watching the second it comes up online. Pretty handy for an up to date, week to week viewer such as myself.

Nothing wrong with streaming, some enjoy the big theater experience in their loungeroom, but I have a pretty sweet setup on the PC, enough wattage to shake the house and a big enough screen to enjoy from a distance, gotta use the quota up somewhow, plus if I want to watch it on the big screen I just chuck it on the hard drive and run it through the PS3 or tv and surround sound

Sounds like your aren't searching hard enough

PM me if there is anything you are chasing, I have a rather large collection from the last few years.

These two sites will help in finding subbing groups and torrents for anything Anime/Manga related.

I use Unblock-US and have done for ages... not a single issue with it and will keep paying my $5 per month if Netflix keeps letting it through
