STI manifolds are identical to the normal WRX ones, just painted red

Isn't the STi inlet wider than the WRX one, giving it better air flow? I also would like to modify my RHS intercooler piping as there would be a shorter route with the STi inlet...Correct me if I'm wrong!

Nah they are the same, unless you start compairing different years. Pretty sure they can be found on Japanparts.com for around the $450.

I have done some extended research, and the STi inlet manifold has a greater flowing capacity than the WRX inlet manifold, and the 2 door STi inlet manifold has a even better flowing capacity than a 4 door STi one. My sources are from the head foreman of Subaru parts and servicing Australia and a Subaru building engineer via E-Mail in the USA. Just thought I'd point it out for anyone else that didn't know the difference, and is new helpful information to them.

So as the thread states, I would like to buy a STi inlet manifold if anyone has one for sale.

Thanks, Jason

Can they back that information up with some flow bench results?

You are more than likely correct as little things like the Y pipe on the 06 STi is better than the 03 STi just because of the slight change in design. It allowed for better air flow & cooling across the entire Top Mount! The Japanese know their shite!

Amen bro. I'm convinced they do have a better flow rate, and what you say seems very true to me. If I can find one before the time comes to put mine back on, I'll grab it and put the STi one on. Failing that I'll make do with WRX one til I can find one.

You'd have to email them and ask. I'm done with being on hold for 40 minutes
