My apologies to Tom. And thanks for his bumping!

Remember there are two types of sti pedals old type has lip on accelerater and later model does not, meant to be easier for heel toe so as I have heard

^+1.
I got the type with the lip and they are really easy to heel/toe with. Saying that, some people earlier in the thread found that the lip caught on their shoe (unwantingly) sometimes so it depends on your driving style/shoe size I guess.
I only chose the lip style cos i think they look nicer

After the CM cruise on the weekend (which was pure WIN) I have decided to post my verdict on the sti pedals with the lip.

Verdict = heel/toe downshifting awesomeness!!

The lip made heel/toeing ridiculously easy and each throttle blip brought about the glorious sound of boxer engine goodness and smooth shifts.

So let the lip Vs no lip debate continue to rage!

p.s- rubber inserts were really good, shoes didnt slip off any of the pedals even after waltzing around in the rain at the meet-up points...

I've got a set of the sti pedals with the lip, had the pedals in for a few months now and must say heel and toe is much easier and never had an issue with getting foot caught. Also, never had any issue with grip, especially when it's wet.
