WTB- Idle Control Valve (on intake manifold)
Looking for the little valve thing that controls the idle speed on the intake manifold. Dont need a whole manifold, just this little part.
Any help much appreciated. Cheers, Lloyd Last edited by Dubs; 04-04-2009 at 12:30 AM. |

Funny.....this part is not a known failure point. Why do you need one?
Dubs: I see you have an my99, does your idle rise and fall all the time or just idle high constantly? ******DO NOT DRIVE ON BOOST******* This is an indication that the MAF is dead, giving a fixed value to the ecu. If so you need an AIRFLOW METER not the idle control valve, the MAF on the 99-00 wrx/sti is a common point of failure and has cost many would be wrxer an engine. ****Your car will be going lean on boost=BOOM! Do not drive on boost!!**** If so you need an AIRFLOW METER not the idle control valve, the MAF on the 99-00 wrx/sti is a common point of failure. There will be no check engine light!
