think i found 1, got a mate who's friend is selling a 98 for 14k, may be able to get it for 13k, but i gotta get a pre approval from the bank, just so i definatly know what my budget is... cheers for the help, and i checked out that 96 but it's done over 200k km's and ive been told that the engine sometimes goes afta 200k km's.

14K is high for a 98. Has it got any mods? what's it like? Do your research, and look at the diferences between 98's and 99's. You can pick up a good 99 for 12-14k. Sometimes less, and they have major advantages over the 98's.

Oh, and engines sometimes go after 5 km's. Nothing wrong with a well looked after high km motor.

yeah $14 or $13k is too high for a '98... Get it down to 12k and you are on to something... but yeah, as Matt said, it's not always the 200k motors that pop, ask MYREXTC, I think his had over 300k on the clock when he sold it.
