I have switched to using a compact flash in my Olympus E-520 DSLR and was not provided with a USB cable on purchase of the camera last year. I did have a USB cable for our Olympus point and shot however in moving house we lost the cable.

Is it not just a mini USB to USB? Otherwise, try a card reader as suggested by Impevsiv.
