as above i am looking for a small dog bone type mount i have tried 3 different ones and i can not find one to match...

i am after a smaller one, cos all the ones i have tried (plastic type) were too long.. need a shorter metal one

Sounds like GC8s had the plastic ones afaik. The metal ones of the RS libs are also the same length. How far too long does it appear to be? Does the gearbox need to be jacked up a little to level it out? You back from the UK now?

yes buddy i am back home now.. i will measure it up i really dont understand why it doesnt fit, has me puzzled..

gearbox mount could be broken, they are all the same length iirc, for instance i have a 97 ra pitch mount on my 99 forester

but i replace the gearbox mount on the car before... i dont understand.. i thought they were all the same, i replace the complete gearbox mount and the black pitch fork mount on the top!!!

Car had a hard hit. Could be engine crossmember thats bent, or gearbox crossmember.
Could be a broken engine mount that has binded up on itself back from where it should be. Could be alot of things. Something is not right.

all that you have mentioned above have all been replaced!!!! all new..
