Hey all,
Need to borrow a Subaru gudgeon (wrist) pin removal tool for a few hours - have one piston to remove from 2L engine. Turns out modified paint tin opener and coat hanger are not up to the job. pm or reply here if you can help. Cheers Graham.

sounds dodgy, but try a big flat blade screw driver.

i made one from a battery tie down 'j' bolt.
Fold the hook right over against the long threaded bit & cut it off leaving a small tag hook or ledge. I've used mine on 2 motors so far without a problem.....Once you get the pin moving it's piss easy.
