You'll probably find Gen 2 & Impreza are all the same too, if you end up with an extra cable give me a yell.
I remember putting a WRX brake/accel set up in my ex's RS so everything is the same length and I've recently put a 92 Lib dual range box & pedal set up in my WRX.
