Default BREMBOS or something else perhaps?

Ok, the wife caught me (not that!) scrolling through car parts and said "Now what?" I said I was just looking for parts that I will "need" to fit when my 150k service comes up in the next month or so. In particular, new rotors and pads etc.

Now "the boss" doesn't like me spending all willy nilly on the car. It's the whole "If it aint broke, why fix it?" from her point of view. Anyway, she slipped up and said, I don't mind you upgrading to something bigger and better if something needs replacing. Yeah I know, I should have got it in writing but she still said it.

Anyway, I'm thinking bugger it, why not try find some second hand (or new) 4 pot Brembos (front AND rear) for the Version 6. Anyone know of somewhere I can get some or someone who has some? What will I need to do in order to fit such a setup on the Version 6?

On another note, is there maybe another brand / type of rotor / pads I should maybe look at?

In a nut shell, find me some new brakes.

Thanks
Dan.

new rotors, pads, braided lines, fluid flush, and realise that wasting 2k to get brembos on your car is a waste of time.

Yeah rims should fit..............should.

Or should I just stick with getting some new 4000's and pads? I just like the gold bits is all.

i recon they're worth it, if you get a full set of 5x100 ones with rotors & everything you'll have to ditch the rear rotors and get some special dba ones and rear dogbone adapters to bolt the brembo's to your r160 rear hubs
