I have one - 11cm Just under 4.5"

Will need some "rebending" but its new - never used.

Will need rebending because it was a damn tight fit in my new exhaust and took much swearing and bending to remove it.

Just a tip for the guys taking them out. To avoid bending use the handle from a trolley jack. The little metal nob bit that sticks up so you can lock it in place is perfect for pulling out silencers.

You just slide the handle down the inside of the silencer and yank back on it. That way you're only denting the part of the pipe that you don't see. No need for bending/rebending then.

That's how I used to remove the one on my old MR2.

I used a steel coat hanger and bent it into a hook works well and did that 2min after I pass pits in the car park.

What did they fail you on though? The fact that a silencer was in place or that it was still too loud? He never busted me for it being too loud, just that it needed to have two mufflers....??
