Default Wanted to swap

I'm after swapping my MY04 wrx boot lid with spoiler for a boot lid without spoiler , must be in really good condition and in rally blue.

why dont you just take the spoiler off? and plug the holes?

Because it works out a lot cheaper for someone to have paid for the work for him.

Well I don't want an imperfect boot lid that has been patched up.

I'd take your car and actually hold their boot up against your paint.

If yours has been undercover all the time and his out in the sun. Although they were made the same colour they might not be anymore.

Best way to go about this would be having someone make up some pieces, weld them into the boot lid and have it resprayed.

Alternately it seems that a lot of people are accepting genuine STi wing equipped boot lids as an acceptable trade.

could flog the spoiler by itself to fund a boot respray?

All these ideas are valid and I've thought of them too, but the whole idea of doing a swap is to keep it as simple and cost effective as possible.
