04 lib gt turbo
hey guys
after a 2004 liberty gt "turbo". from what was decribed to me it is a twin entry turbo and the model is h1 something like that. not much was described to me from my mate he took it to turbo tech and they said that this turbo cannot be fixed thanks guys

Manual or auto Gt? if it is an auto it will be a Vf38, manual will be a Tdo4hla.

The vf46 is not a twin scroll turbo, do you know if it is an auto or manual?

I've got a feeling this was a really common problem, ring Doug at STechnic to confirm, there may be a fix before it happens again........I'm sure there was one in the workshop last time I was there with a blown turbo and recollect him saying it happens all the time but I'm old so memory not so good.

yeah when i bought mine ( '03 gen4 turbo ) Doug/Damien mentioned that the turbos seemed to give trouble/blow around the 100k mark but i can't remember what they said happens or why.
in saying that though, mine had 144k on it when i sold it last week and it was still on the original turbo and going strong. |
