Hi guys, I am overseas at the moment.
The cheapest option is to (as some have suggested) buy them using a US shipping agent who will then forward them on to you. Valentine are also correct in that they do not supply at any trade prices, so $399 is what everyone pays. Plus 2 lots of shipping to get them sent to Australia. Just be mindful of the import duties when you buy more than two. Some people might suggest "just ask the shipper to put a lower value on the forms" - the problem there is that means the total insurance will be that (lower amount) so if your package goes missing, you'd be out of pocket the difference. Low risk if you use a reptuable shipper, but even I lost 10 x Valentines from Fedex many years ago BTW I have access to the following second hand gear:
