Default Stock boost controller or well priced EBC

My stock boost controller is on its way out big time.

Looking for a boost controller for my Bugeye 01-03 WRX not sure if it's the same as an STi unit?

Or:

An electronic boost controller that's second hand but in good condition and is at a reasonable price.

Cheers!!

By stock boost controller you mean a stock boost control solenoid.... WRX & STI are the same.

Yes but if you look into them a little bit more they state on the description that you need to get your car retuned to suit this controller.

Would rather avoid getting this done till next month when I get my new turbo + ecu tune

Cheers man that's exactly what I mean, mine is a GD being a bugeye will all 01+ units do the job? Or are the 06+ units different? I'm looking for plug and play if I can.

Problem sorted guys, thanks for all the above posts/advice.

I'm going with a genuine Subaru solinoid from a Bugeye STi "Forum member spotted this wanted post"

Looking forward to fitting this and seeing if my problem is sorted.

Cheers again!

Will post up the results after its fitted.

Put a STi boost controller in and had the same issues with boost spikes.

Fitted an electronic boost controller, set it at 15psi and it's running perfectly. Holds 15psi perfectly now.
