Alex, depends how much you spend but extra noise is not really an issue as you move up in the helmets. i.e. my open face stilo has cups that go over your ears not too disimiliar to a pair of ear muffs. I imagine the full face one is identical.

I didnt notice a lot of difference going from a full face to an open face helmet. Just less weight and better visibility. Also the microphone setup in my bell full face is bum whereas the stilo open face is absolutely faultless.
