Have you got adjustable suspension Russ?

I'm running 245s with zero fender mods, was rubbing hard under compression but after a bit more camber and a slight raise in ride height its all good.

Have about a one finger gap in the back with 2.5 deg.

The 05/06 STI flare is turd. I had quotes to modify it but even with grinding the underneath off, i was told i'd only get another 2mm max clearance...

You can get way more than 2mm with grinding the rear lip, bashing out the rear guards and then putting th efender flares back on. The flare is just to hide some dents from bashing and rolling so hard.

Keep in mind too that I have a wagon so already lose about 20mm worth of width.

Russ: Ahh ok fair enough...i think that 2mm was with just grinding the underside of the flare without touching anything else...good luck though!

Mod: 17x9 but stock offset...there's hardly any space under the guards so i didn't want to demolish the fenders with any crazy offsets...

Just to bump this up, I'm looking at importing some of those flares ^^^^^ direct from the maker in the US. Trying to save a heap of money rather than buying them from one of the online aussie sites that has a crazy mark up. They fit 05/6/7 STI I believe.

If anyone is interested in sharing postage on a set let me know.

Check out this thread for more info. Anyone looking for pocket style fender flares? AKA Karlton Flare - Subaru Impreza WRX STI Forums: IWSTI.com

the 05 is a different kit to the 06/7 kit - i believe the 05 kit actually fits all peanuts and maybe even bug eyes.

How much are you getting them for?
