I have a 34 if you get desperate - working well, believe about 60k on it if the last engine swap km's are accurate(ish)

I'd take a VF 34 over a 30 anyway!

http://www.perth-wrx.com/vb/mechanic...specs-faq.html

Wouldn't be too many VF22's floating around I wouldn't think.

VF30

The VF30 is commonly considered the best bang for the buck turbo in the IHI VF series line. A relatively new model the VF30 features the same exhaust housing as the VF24 but a larger compressor side similar to the VF22. The combination of these two parts results in increased output potential without the lag associated with the VF22. Although it doesn't offer the top end supremacy of the VF22, the VF30 is a great compromise between these unit and the quicker spooling models.

VF34

The VF34 is nearly identical to the VF30, with the same exhaust housing and compressor. However the VF34 goes back to the ball bearing design, and in doing so achieves full boost approximately 500RPM sooner than the comparable VF30. The VF34 is the most recent IHI design and as such costs slightly more than its counterpart. Top end performance and maximum output are identical to the 30.

How big you reckon?

Not sure on ECU yet, was thinking ECUTEK?

What are the ECU options for MY01 Bug Eye?

Would love a PFC, don't think I've ever seen one?

There is no PFC for your bug eye, the last Subaru ecu they did was for 99-00 version 5/6 Sti/Wrx.

Your options are:
1. Verso Tune (Flashed onto your factory ecu) - All Star Garage
2. Ecutek (Flashed onto your factory ecu)- Maximum Motorsport
3. Vi-pec replacement ecu - All Star, Evolution R etc
4. Link
5. Autronic
6. Motec

I had Power Fc's for the last 5 years, I now have a Vi-pec and wouldn't go back.

Vi-pec has Anti-lag, launch control, MAP sensor based etc, etc.....

You'll be needing at least 750cc injectors to run E85 & still have headroom for future mods.
