Mod list unchanged, apart from audio upgrade... Running out of options until things explode.
207, when the 205 dies, .... if ever.
6 speed would be nice to complete this year. The ratios of the MY01 are somewhat depressing, but good for freeway.
Still happy with the fugeye. It's 14years old now.

Took a photo of it in current form the other day with a Nexus 5. Still looks alright still I think given her age.

If I can do a 6 speed dccd swap for ~$4k this year, looking forward to it.
Tyres are getting a bit low, so some 245's will be next, from the current 225's.

Master D, TROLLEY, MY00GC8 and 4 others like this.

Nice one mate, street driven 205's at 20pound are no worries. This has been at 20psi for a good few years, I am pretty tame though. No smoke and starts first crank. Still got the 34/p18 on this thing. Pretty nice street turbo imho.

In all honesty, probably dropped at LEAST half of the purchase price back into this car, from when i first got it. Don't regret a single cent of it.

Same here just have to learn not to mess with the ecu firmware now I have to get that sorted before it can drive her again. Real hard when all shops are shut over new year.

Rich, hunt down a proper Aussie spec STi grille. They look better than the one you have in my opinion. Beware the JDM one piece, better than the WRX 3 piece but not as nice as a STi one I reckon.

Yeah been looking out for one for months and months, but rare as hens teeth. Priced up from Japan parts around 600 landed.

Shit, I didn't think they were that exxy and hard to get. I've had a few of the JDM single piece ones (like Munya has) but on close inspection they are not the same (as nice) as an Aussie STi grille.

Just a few consumables for service.

New QFM HPX Pads (Tired of the Bendix Ultimates, and heard these were alright!)
Genuine Pollen Filter (I have never changed it since owning the car!)
Oil + Filter (Anyone pay the extra for the pink STI filter?)
Upper Engine Cleaner
Motul RBF 600 Brake Fluid
Platinum Sparkies
6 Speed Gearbox Surround (Seemed to be hard to find these, and trying to tell myself I am going to do the expensive part underneath it eventually!)

Next month:

New 245/40/18 Rubber
MY03+ Tail Lights

Cheers

Ordered WRC plates. Nothing special, so I can transfer to new cars in future.
What's the usual turn around time to pickup plates?

Also picked up new guard liners & clips for l/r front wheel arches as mine are shredded to shit, and the APS CAI will cop a hammering in winter. Might have to raise the front up a 5mm or so and throw in more camber once the 245's go on.

Cheers
