Already had the lights sitting in a box.
Not going to spend money on new stuff when I don't need to.

Concrete barriers are only a couple of meters away so who needs distance!

Work well 4WDing, not as good as HID, but for an affordable option its a good one. @ Donnolly River the LED bars were blinding as a photographer.

By affordable, if you have enough lights already, why buy more.

Most are. There are a couple of places on the stage that are really dark and the corner can come up faster than expected if you cant see it.

More light cant hurt.

Lol Dave, you're preaching to the poor fuck who cant be bothered with getting any decent lights for doing Rallysprint.

I just eat a couple of carrots before kickoff.

I agree. 4WD work is the ideal application. But for rallying I'm yet to be convinced they offer the distance you need. The original headlights offer enough spread for the low speed tight turns, I want to be able to pull 6th gear through the trees and see what's up ahead.
