Cheers Fred, Thanks for giving me some more insight into how good
the SM4 really is!

When you snaked passes Ramon and myself I thought I'd better give
it some stick and catch up!

I would love to get some rolling shots so anyone with the skills to moving
shots let me know if your keen.

Rotors arrived today, only 5 days late though as someone forgot to
send them

I got these as they were the closet to the outer ventilated brembo's
that came on the 204 and actually IMO are alot better as they are
heat treated and slotted.

These are the same as USDM Dave's

Should be on in the next week and will post pics of getting them installed
and the final stage.

Oh and sorry for the bourbon shake blur spec pics

Heat treated, anti rust and have the outer ventilation holes
and so on, if there is nothing special about them then neither
are the exclusive 204 ones that came on the car.

*just a smal bit of info from the Dixcel site:

"When the heat treatment technique originally developed by DIXCEL is combined with the design specification of the slotted brake disc, this creates outstanding braking stability. A ‘SD type’ effect is acquired on the streets; a high friction co-efficiency can be felt even from a low temperature, a higher stability with stable friction co-efficiency at high temperatures is maintained on the track as well."

Ive had the DBA 4000's before and found they warp, not saying these wont be what ive heard and read about these one they are pretty good and the price was awesome.

$575 Delivered and RRP is $799.

*Dixcel is also the only company use the off the shelf product in the Japanese GT and 24 hours race. So the FCR series you can buy are actually the exact same compound they use in Japanese GT race.

*FCR Carbon series -

This is the exact same disk we use on our 2007 Timeattack Champion car and also the Japanese Group N 24 hours champion 350Z.

- Using high carbon material to prevent expansion/distortion of the disk, for endurance performance.
- heat treated, to help maintain performance stability.
- Special heat treated and anti rust paint applied on every disk
- Improved based material, increase long term performance
- Work well with Slick or Semi slick
- soft disk compound to increse initial bite, improve initial brake performance.
- 20% more FC Carbon material added to the disk
- Also mix with copper, nickel and other special additive
*FCR brake disk is only available for the front

More info on the rotors and so on below.

Finally got some of these babies to replace the ones
that went missing during transit to Perth with CEVA!

According to the original owner the car came with them when
it was bought new but i have never seen them on any other
204 but have read about them in some 204 spec blogs.

Got a few more goodies in the mail and pipeline that will be
revealed shortly.

*UPDATE

Had my 3" BBB (Barking Butler Built) dump and centre pipe put on today which mates up with the Titanium STi muffler and fark me she sounds like a full race spec WRC car now on WOT!

Ramon and Tino have had the pleasure of hearing this vicious sound and they both have wood over it and it certainly turns alot of heads now.

Here are some pics and will possibly post up some quick video footage later.

*will fix the direction of some pics soon.

The standard twin scroll dump mouth is really quite a good piece of work, but the 3 cats in the system must have been restricting it somewhat but it still managed to do 202.9 and 440.3 ATW with them in so now with them gone happy times are on the way especially with my tune next week!
