japanparts have them, 'bout $55 plus shipping atm. I did see one on ebay a while ago, but not for about two months now.

They wont work on ADM vehicles due to the immobiliser key transponder
which is built into the key and the ignition and those keys don't have them.

I have found the owners manual from my 07 i wrote off and have compared it
with the JDM one that came with the car.

From what i can work out from the section on keys is the car does come with the key transponder immobiliser security so its not looking good now to use my new key.

However only time will tell.

Only for remote door locking i believe, not immobiliser as such. Im pretty sure there was no immobiliser in the 204 loom and no provision for it with the ecu either.

you'll find out soon either way

Who said anything about using it? I just want it to sit on the desk & get dusty.

ah ok, just have to wait for the bloody car to get here now.

Been on the phone everyday since Monday asking when the car
is going to start moving and every time they say "tomorrow" then
tomorrow comes and it still hasn't left QLD.

*quick edit: WooHoo it has finally left QLD for VIC and hopefully will still get here next week.
