i went mms 'rw spec. on the car it was 1900 fitted. this included the full polish (which after a while it turned gold anyway, so what was the point, but made the dumpipe turn a nice burnt shade of titanium look!) used quality tempered hex bolts on all flanges minimal bend no cat one radial bend over the diff and a hand made hand packed non chambered straight through muffler with a modified STi/Genome tip.

let me get this right, straight through, so your trying to say, dumpipe no cat no resonator no muffler? hahaha i like the commitment to the rally'eque theme, but even they run special resonators to stop them sounding like two thongs flapping in the wind!

Like cronic2k said, each to their own. I think ill deal with this rebuild first and then down the track get some exhaust, cam, silicone intake love at once. Those videos have definatley sold me though! Does anyone have a normal butlet muffler though? I noticed you all used STi gnome/titanium ones?
